Woodcross Resources
Woodcross Resources is comprised of a mining division which is focussed on the exploration, development and operation of mining licences in The Republic of Uganda, with a current focus on the Ntungamo and Isingiro districts; a commercial-scale tin refinery located in Mbarara, Uganda; and a mineral trading division, purchasing concentrate from audited mining sites across the Great Lakes Region of East Africa.
Mining
Woodcross Resources owns and operates the Ruhama mine (ML1466), a 40km2 mining license in the Ntungamo region of Uganda. This mining license has a JORC compliant scoping study which provides the company with 26,680 tonnes of tin metal at an average grade of 0.23% on which a 15 ton per hour processing plant has been assembled and commissioned.
Refining
Woodcross Resources owns and operates a tin smelting facility with a production capacity exceeding 1,000 tonnes of London Metal Exchange ('LME') Grade A tin metal.
